Thank you for your interest in Saint Jude the Apostle Catholic School! Our application for the 2022-23 school year will be open from Tuesday, October 19, 2021 until Monday, February 7, 2022. Your child will be assigned an applicant testing date and time upon receipt of the application and application fee. The applicant testing dates are February 26 and March 5, 2022. The admissions committee will review the application, applicant test results, and all additional paperwork. All decision letters will be mailed on April 1, 2022, and an email will be transmitted on April 2, 2022.

Application Process

The application process is considered complete once the following have been received by our admissions office:

  • Complete the Online Application or Return to your Application
  • Pay the application fee ($175) (fee covers applicant test and test results)
  • Applicant must be five years old on or before September 1 to enter kindergarten.

  • Applicant must be six years old on or before September 1 to enter first grade.
  • Local transfer of students from any public, private, or independent school into 8th grade is  generally not considered. Students whose families have relocated to the area from another Catholic school may apply for 8th grade. Email admissions@saintjude.net for more information.
  • Upload the following supplemental documents:
    • Birth Certificate (copy acceptable)
    • Baptismal Certificate (Catholic applicants only)
    • First Communion Certificate (Catholic applicants only)
    • Immunization Form GA3231 (copy acceptable) Please note: The state of Georgia and the Archdiocese of Atlanta require up-to-date immunizations for school attendance. The Catholic church does not recognize an immunization exemption based upon matters of conscience/religious convictions.
    • Educational/Psychological Evaluations (if applicable)
  • Submit the Archdiocesan Parish Verification Form (Catholic applicants only)
  • Email the appropriate Student Evaluation Form to your child's current teacher(s)
  • Email the Release of Records to your child's current school registrar
