Learning At Home Continues
Posted: 4/30/2020

Saint Jude the Apostle Catholic School did not miss a beat when it came to transitioning to digital learning in this unprecedented time. Although our school building closed physically on Monday, March 16th, a continued sense of community has been at the core of this transition, helping our students, teachers, and parents shift from a physical classroom to a digital one. From kindergarten to eighth grade, teachers and students have connected using Zoom, Google Meet, and virtual field trips.. Every Monday, there has been a “Specials Monday” series of activities to kick off the week, where students are challenged to complete projects in art, physical education, technology, and music. We have implemented a “steps challenge” to encourage physical activity during this time. In addition, our morning show is being remotely produced for students to stay connected to the latest school news and stories. Lastly, our community has come together virtually to pray and worship together for all those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
