Admissions Policy
St. Jude the Apostle Catholic School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national and ethnic origin, in the administration of educational policies, admissions policies, loan program, and athletics and other school programs. Additionally, St. Jude the Apostle Catholic School adheres to all policies set forth by the Archdiocese of Atlanta.
Registration
Registration of new students for the 2008 - 2009 school year begins on November 1, 2007 at which time application forms will be available on our website and in the admissions office. Required forms, along with a copy of your child's birth certificate, baptismal certificate, and current immunization record, can be mailed or delivered in person. The registration deadline is Monday, February 4, 2008 for all grades. A non-refundable $ 175.00 application and testing fee must accompany each application. For student who are re-applying, a non-refundable application and testing fee of $ 85.00 must accompany the application.
In order to register for Kindergarten, students must be 5 years old by September 1, 2008.

Applications may be downloaded from the school website after November 1, 2007. Adobe Acrobat reader is required on your computer to download the application forms. Please visit our school website at www.saintjude.net. Click on the Visitors Button in the Edline Section, and then click on the Admissions Forms Link in the right-hand column of the screen. Hard copy applications may also be picked up in the school office after November 1, 2007.

Priority of Acceptance
1) All currently enrolled students who have re-registered by the expressed due date.
2) Applicants whose siblings are currently enrolled.
3) Applicants from Saint Jude the Apostle Catholic Church; applicants with alumni or legacy status.
4) Applicants from parishes in the Archdiocese of Atlanta without a Catholic school.
5) Applicants transferring from Catholic schools in other states.
6) Applicants from parishes with Catholic schools.
6) Applicants from other Catholic schools in the Archdioces of Atlanta.
7) Applicants from other religious affiliations.
Tuition for the 2007-2008 School Year
St. Jude the Apostle School has three tuition payment plans:
- Annual - Full payment of tuition is due July 10, 2007.
- Semi-annual - The first payment is due July 10, 2007. The second payment is due February 10, 2008.
- Monthly - A 25% payment is due on July 10, 2007. A $ 50.00 service charge is included in this payment. You will receive a set of envelopes in June to use for your tuition payments. Monthly payments begin on August 10, 2007 and continue through April 10, 2008. Payment is expected by the tenth of the month.

- Tuition for non-active Catholic families, non-Catholic families, and families without signed parish verification cards is $7,159.00 per child.
- Additional Student fees of $ 375.00 per child are due June 10, 2007. The student fees include: Textbooks, Workbooks & Instructional Materials; Pupil Insurance; Pupil Tax;Tuition Assistance; Standardized Testing; Technology Fee; Field Trips; 3 class parties (generally Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine).
